On this trip every city held within it a huge park that was a complete Chinese mythology unto itself. There were lakes, mountains, sculptures, temples and wandering paths. In Xiamen there was this incredible blue humming bird.....

Feathers in January

Looking out the window this afternoon I saw feathers drifting and blowing through the overcast day. They were coming from somewhere above. I surmise: somewhere a falcon has caught a pigeon and is preparing and enjoying its lunch.
