Outside on Church Street they are doing a fashion shoot, having the models pretend to walk across the street over and over.....
Inside I have been working on the new painting, pretending that Shiva and Kali are dancing on the wall together forever and forever...

Thank's
Ah, New York.
On my last visit to the city--some years now--I took the elevator down from my room to the lobby. As the doors opened, there was a crowd in front of me held back from the lobby by a velvet rope. "What's going on?" I asked.
"They're making a movie," someone replied.
Sure enough, there were the cameras. Extras standing around pretending to be extras. I recall a young kid--very short, maybe 5'2"--with a comb in his back pocket. Just before the action started, he pulled out the comb and ran it through his hair. Not very realistic for a harried waiter, I figured.
I asked someone, "Anyone of note in the film?" They pointed across the lobby which also served as a restaurant. I looked.
Sitting in a booth was Willem Dafoe and Susan Sarandon. I still don't know what movie (or commercial) they were making.
