I like both of those portraits of your pal. Especially the first one.
I guess the flowers are getting ready to bloom one last time before Autumn?
There is something that I can't put my finger on that these paintings capture that is really fantastic. Especially the second one since it shows my posture, shape and environment. There's an attitude and a comfort that comes through. Magnificent.
